Jury selection starts today in a wrongful death lawsuit filed by Andreen McDonald's family against her convicted killer, Andre McDonald. He was sentenced to 20-years in prison for manslaughter a year ago, after the jury failed to convict him of murder. Andreen's family is seeking exemplary damages in the lawsuit, which claims Andre McDonald killed Andreen for financial gain. He admitted to killing her in 2019, dumping her body, and setting fire to it. He was also sentenced to five-years for tampering with evidence.
