The Houston Astros are signing second baseman Jose Altuve on for another five-years. General Manager Dana Brown announced the contract extension on Tuesday. The $125 million extension will cover the 2025 through 2029 seasons. Altuve enters the 2024 season in the last year of a seven-year extension that he signed in 2018. In his 12 seasons as an Astro, Altuve has participated in the most successful era in the team's history, including two World Series championships.
