A strange, tense situation at a San Antonio convenience store this morning ended with the arrest of a man. Police were called by a worker at the store, reporting that a man had fallen asleep in his truck parked at the gas pumps. When EMS crews arrived, they approached the truck and saw a gun in the sleeping man's hand. That prompted an hours long standoff, with all attempts to wake the man up failing. Police even used a flash bang to try and wake the man. The SWAT team finally shook the man awake. The truck is believed to be stolen, there were drugs in the vehicle, and the man had several outstanding arrest warrants.
