A knife-wielding man is in custody after a six-hour SWAT standoff in a South Side neighborhood on Monday. San Antonio police, along with SWAT team members, responded around 3 p.m. to a home on West Harlan. People at the home told officers the man had arrived with a knife and behaved in a threatening and erratic way. The residence reportedly wasn't the man's home, though he knew some people there. The suspect finally surrendered. His name hasn't been released, and charges against him haven't been specified.
