Astros Defeat Marlins In Series Finale

The Astros cruised to a big win over Miami in their series finale. Houston defeated the Marlins 12-5 to win the three-game set at LoanDepot Park. Alex Bregman, Chas McCormick and Kyle Tucker each homered and combined to drive in eight runs in Houston's second straight win. Starting pitcher Justin Verlander earned the win after letting up five runs, four earned, through five innings. The Astros improved to 70-and-52. They will return home to host the Seattle Mariners tomorrow night.
