A Texas couple who ran a faith-based pyramid scheme during COVID is now facing a $10 million court judgment. LaShonda and Marlon Moore ran a company called Blessings In No Time out of their Dallas-area home. They promised to "bless" participants with large sums of money if they bought into their investment scheme. An appearance on a reality TV show, run by the Oprah Winfrey Network, gave an air of legitimacy to investors. Hundreds of people bought in, but never saw their cash again. The court order sets up a Texas-administered fund that will help make victims whole.
