The Texas Rangers may be getting their ace back on the mound soon. Right-hander Jacob deGrom threw a 32-pitch bullpen session on Monday as he continues to recover from elbow inflammation that has knocked him out of the lineup since late April.

Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said that deGrom's session went "really, really well" and told the media that the 34-year-old "feels great."

The two-time NL Cy Young Award winner has gone 2-and-0 with a 2.67 ERA in six starts this season. He has been on the 15-day injured list since April 29th.
