Texas is losing three football players to the transfer portal as spring practice winds down. Edge rusher Derrick Brown, linebacker Trevell Johnson and wide receiver Brenen Thompson are all reportedly set to enter the transfer portal. Thompson caught one pass for 32 yards in his freshman season last fall. Brown and Johnson did not see any game action during the 2022 season.
