Houston concludes its 2022 season on Friday against Louisiana in the Independence Bowl in Shreveport. The Cougars finished the regular season with a 7-and-5 record. Houston put an end to a four-game bowl losing streak with a 17-13 victory over Auburn in the Birmingham Bowl last year. This will be the first meeting between the two programs since 2006.
