Investigators are reporting that Austin police mistakenly released the woman accused of killing cyclist Anna Moriah Wilson. Police arrested 34-year-old Kaitlin Marie Armstrong for an unrelated misdemeanor warrant on May 12th, the day after Wilson was murdered. The Austin police management system listed Wilson's birth month incorrectly, causing her to be released because the birth month didn't match the warrant. She's believed to have flown from Austin to New York City, and is still on the loose.
