An East Side sports bar where a deadly shooting happened earlier this month is no longer in the liquor-selling business. The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission has permanently revoked the liquor license of the Boom Boom Sports Bar on South New Braunfels Avenue near I-10. Police say the bar was illegally open after hours in the early morning of August 15th when a patron involved in a bar fight reportedly shot five people, killing three of them. Officers have since arrested the suspect, 34-year-old Daniel Barragan.
