Reports Foreigners May Be Traveling To Texas To Get Shots

There are reports that foreign nationals may be traveling to the U.S. to get the coronavirus vaccine. Dr. Robert Leverence with the UT Health System says it's impossible to know for sure, because a citizenship check is not a requirement of the vaccine rollout. He says it's not happening in hospitals, but it could be going on at mass vaccination sites, which don't check for medical history because it would delay the line. At a press conference in Houston, Gov. Greg Abbott declared that the vaccines the state is getting "are intended for Texans."
