Seguin Resident Claims $47 Million Lotto Texas Jackpot

A Seguin resident has now claimed a $47 million estimated annuitized jackpot prize for the Lotto Texas drawing held on Sept. 30.

The cash value option was selected at the time of purchase and the claimant received $39,767,339.23. The claimant elected to remain anonymous.

The winning ticket matched all six of the numbers drawn (4-11-16-19-27-30). The ticket was purchased at Pic N Pac 10, located at 109 Highway 123 N. Bypass, in Seguin.

The winning prize started as a $5 million estimated annuitized jackpot on Jan. 18 and rolled a record 73 times before it was won by the Seguin resident. At the time of the Sept. 30 drawing, the $47 million jackpot was the second-largest lottery prize up for grabs in the world and was the largest Lotto Texas prize available to play for since the May 29, 2010 drawing when the game boasted a $97 million jackpot.

This is the first Lotto Texas jackpot winner of more than $30 million since the May 16, 2018 drawing, when a $30.25 million estimated annuitized jackpot prize was claimed by a Houston resident. The next Lotto Texas drawing will be held Wednesday, Oct. 21. The advertised jackpot prize for the drawing is set at an estimated annuitized $6.25 million.
