Suspect, Injured Officers ID'd In Cedar Park Standoff

A shooting suspect and the officers he injured are being identified in an almost 24-hour standoff in Cedar Park. Joseph Taylor surrendered to Cedar Park police yesterday morning. Officers Jacqueline Quiles, Cris Hester and Nik Anderson were hit when Taylor shot them upon their arrival at the home on Natalie Cove Sunday afternoon. Interim Police Chief Mark Harmon says investigators are still trying to figure out why Taylor broke into his mother's home. Taylor is currently hospitalized. Two of the three wounded officers are already out of the hospital, and all are expected to make full recoveries. No one else was hurt.
