Sailors Hurt In Naval Ship Blast

Over a dozen Navy sailors are in the hospital after a fire and explosion on a ship in San Diego

In a tweet, Naval Surface Forces said a total of 17 sailors and four civilians suffered non-life threatening injuries. 

Crews are working to put out a fire on the U.S.S. Bonhomme Richard. Only 160 sailors were on board the ship at the time. It was undergoing maintenance at the time of the explosion.
