Students at the University of Texas at Austin are in for a tuition hike for the Spring 2020 semester. The university is raising tuition for the second year in a row, and UT students are in for a two-point-six-percent tuition increase in 2020 and 2021. For Longhorn undergrads, that may add up to an average of nearly 300-dollars per year. The cost of attending UT has gradually risen almost every year for the past ten years. The Texas A&M University system is announcing a similar tuition rate increase as well.
