A nearly 15-hour police standoff in Kerrville ended this afternooon. A man who shot a woman to death in a Walmart parking lot last night had been holed-up in a nearby empty movie theater since the shooting. The standoff ended with the suspect suffering a reported self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was rushed from the scene by ambulance. None of the officers involved in the standoff were injured. Investigators say the victim of last night's shooting was a Walmart employee and she and the suspect apparently knew each other.
