A lover's triangle is blamed for an early morning shooting on the northwest side, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the victim was walking to his car in the parking lot of the Terrace House Apartments on Gentleman Rd. in Balcones Heights when a man stepped out from behind the apartment dumpster and shot him in the chest.
He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Police say the suspect is victim's girlfriend's ex boyfriend. She was with the victim at the time but was not hurt.
