Dallas' Oldest Hotel Destroyed By Fire

Orange Dancing Flame

The oldest hotel in Dallas is no more after being destroyed by a fire. Flames broke out this morning inside the vacant Ambassador Hotel in downtown, causing most of the structure to collapse. The 115-year-old structure was in the process of being rehabilitated to become a mixed-used development. There's no word on what caused the fire, and no injuries were reported. Nearly 100 firefighters responded to the fire.
