Christmas wreaths were placed on graves at the Texas State Cemetery Saturday to honor servicemen and women who have passed away.
This is the third year Wreaths Across America has held this event in Austin.
The Texas State Cemetery is one of 1,500 other cemeteries across the country that paid respects to veterans.
Volunteers placed 3,100 wreaths on all graves in the cemetery, which included fallen soldiers, veterans, and other dignitaries.
Gold star families were also honored at the event.
