A female teacher and coach at Page Middle School in the San Antonio ISD has been arrested on charges that she had an 'improper relationship' with a 15 year old female former student at the school, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The teacher is identified as Crystal Nicole Rodriguez. She is charged with 'Improper Relationship between Educator and Student.'
The SAISD says the information about the arrest has been turned over to the State Board of Education, as is required by law. The district's Human Resources Council is also meeting today with Rodriguez.
The district says it is also working to 'ensure that we have full knowledge of what has occurred.'
