A 36 year old New Braunfels man is under arrest after he was seen taking photographs of an 11 year old girl under the walls of the stall of the women's room at a New Braunfels Wal-Mart, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say Hermes Mendez was arrested by police in the women's restroom, and the girl told authorities he had taken her photo.
Officials investigated Mendez' cell phone camera and they also discovered a photo of a five year old girl.
He was arrested at his home on South Mesquite Avenue, and charged with possession of child pornography, and bond has been set at $200,000.
Police think that there is an additional adult victim who Mendez may have photographed in the same women's room at Walmart without her knowledge.
They're asking any women who may have been in the restroom between 8 and 9 PM on August 12 to cone forward, and additional charges against Mendez may be filed.
