Larry Kennan has been fired after 6 seasons as football coach at the University of the Incarnate Word.
In a news release, UIW athletic director Brian Wickstrom said, "I want to thank Coach Kennan for his six years of hard work on behalf of hundreds of student-athletes."
Kennan's record was 20-46 in his six seasons at UIW. The Cardinals finished 1-10 overall and 1-7 in the Southland Conference this season.
Kennan's best season was in 2015 when the Cardinals finished 6-5 overall and 5-4 in the Southland.
