Two Shot as Drug Deal Turns Terrifying on the Southeast Side

Two young people are clinging to life after they were shot when a proposed drug deal turned south in a hurry overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Police say a 21 year old man and a 20 year old woman went to an apartment at the Rivera Apartments in the 3200 block of Bolmore, which is off Pecan Valley on the southeast side, intending to buy drugs from two men in the apartment.But the transaction turned terrifying in a hurry.  As soon as the couple walked into the home, the two dope dealers pulled guns.

The man jumped in front of the woman and he was shot twice.  He fell and then the men shot the woman twice.

They were rushed to SAMMC with no vital signs.

To make matters even worse, the two gunmen drove away in the victims' car.

Police don't know why the men opened fire on the couple.  The supects, who officers say are 'very dangerous,' remain at large.
